it boggles my mind
I’m horribly light sensitive when I have a migraine, so I couldn’t even fall asleep with the minimal amount of light that was coming into my bedroom.
No, just putting down the blinds and curtains wasn’t enough.
I went around my room and put black tape over all the little lights in my room, from my computer (just on the “power on” and “charging” lights), to the power strip switch, to the light on my computer power cord saying it’s plugged in.
Then I closed my door all the way, I put heavy books in front of it so it wouldn’t pop open, and put my robe in front of the crack on the bottom of the door.
And if that wasn’t enough, I taped down my curtains so even the light getting through on the sides of my blinds had a harder time getting in
and if that wasn’t enough, I made a blindfold and fell asleep with it on.
I feel really rested, but my neck is a little stiff, but otherwise I feel really okay.
I don’t know why I was so driven to remove all the light from my bedroom. Usually I can just fall asleep with a migraine no problem.
